Do pvs holes need to be vented symmetrically?

    Hi all,

Razor XL owner here. It's a 4 blade with 4 pvs holes. I currently have two plugged up opposite of each other, but would like better holeshot. If I take out one, leaving only one in, will that be okay? Or will the "uneven" plugging be an issue?

You can do anything you like. They can all be different sizes.

Its fine, Once you hit the throttle, It all mixes up evenly. I prefer symetrical venting because I'm anal about such things, But it dont matter.

+1. Not necessary but I'm also anal about them being the same.

Many times, I just push it through the hole instead of trying to pull it out.

You can get the solid ones and drill them out a little at a time on any number bladed prop.
The back of a 3/8th drive extension is perfect for tapping them through the prop. Tap to the inside then trim down and spin prop for retrieval, or the next time you fire the motor up it will blow them out.
