    Best way to mount kayak on houseboat

    Ideas on how to mount a kayak on a 50 ft houseboat? don't want it underfoot, easy to place, secure if rough water or wind.

    Honestly, I can't understand what's the problem. I have mine mounted right on the kayak trailer and covered with a tent. Look at those, for example. Not sure if you need a kayak trailer with a houseboat, though...

    It sounds like he is wondering how to mount it on the boat while the boat is on the lake. I think I would stand it up and tie it to the cabin. That's how I store mine when its in the garage.
