25 Fury 3 vs 25 Fury 4

So I wanted to try a Fury 4 on my boat (2012 Ranger Z520 w/Mercury 250 ProXS) since I wasn't getting a good hole shot when it's tournament loaded and the weather is warmer.

Today I swapped props and found out these props that I have a different inside and the Fury 4 would mount but was scrapping the motor when I rotated it. I used the same Mercury hub kit but for some reason the Fury 4 wouldn't 'fit' correctly.

Is this something that's common that I'm unaware of? Do I need a different hub kit for a Fury 4 vs Fury 3?

I have never heard of this issue. They should be the same hub.

Sounds like you didn’t swap the thrust washer over.

They have the same exact hub and take the same exact hardware to fit the same motor. You must not be using all of the same hardware.

Thanks for the reply guys.....Put on new hub and parts and all worked well.... Must have left on a washer during one of the swap outs.
