Yeah, there's a few out there. Actually even a few posted here on BBC for a decent price. Just hard to believe how they are getting older and the prices are going up.

I got lucky and paid $8k for mine. It's in great condition. If I ever decided to sell, I couldn't let it go for less than $12k.

I bought a 1996 Ranger 461VS one owner in 2004 for 10,500 in excellent condition. I kept it for 4 years and sold it for 12,900. It would bring that price even now.

I've done a lot of work to my boat over the years and she looks OK but I feel like regardless of what I do, she is a 4k to 5k (tops) if I ever decide to sell.

    I’m not that old and I remember looking at a 185vs with 150 for 24k. That was 2004. My dad bought a 03 carryover 618vs with 150 for 22k.

First new boat was a 1981 Skeeter Wrangler 120 with a 115 'rude. As a plus on the sale, they threw in a Hummingbird Super 60 flasher (with I still have). Long time ago.

Somebody here was cleaning out their garage and found a receipt of their bass boat from the 80's and it was fully loaded under 10K and posted a picture of it, somebody on the same thread posted a mid 80's magazine ad and it was the also under 10K, I think it was a skeeter. Wish I could find it, buried on here somewhere...

I believe I have the original receipt for my 1987 374V and if I remember correctly it was for like $18k and about 18k in finance charges.

1992 372 think i paid 20k for it out the door, still have it today. Boat was stolen and stripped, sold it to a guy who put it in his garage and never touched it. Called me a few years ago looking for trailer title so i went to see it and bought it back for $500.00, re-powered with a used motor new trailer tires and some new graphs. Still all original even the trailer lights worked when i hooked it up. They really made a great boat and i still see plenty of them. I had the 400 and 500 series and loved those also.

Bought a fully loaded Champion 190 in 1992 for $22,000 plus tax. Kept it for 8 years and sold it for $11,000. Dang I miss the good old days.

In the late eighties and real early nineties North Hollywood Marine use to sell Ranger 370 series with 150’s for $17,500 plus tax.

That's when top dollar for a new boat was $30,000. That was a 21' boat loaded.

My 87 373 was $17K OTD Oct. 86, with two covers and upgraded electronics and TM. I remember the day I sat down with the salesman to pick out my colors. I still have the boat but over the years I have replaced seats, carpet and electronics and TM a few times.
1987 Ranger 373V 150 Yamaha proV still going strong.
