The good, the bad, the ugly.

I have been on a mission past several weeks to visit or revisit lakes within a few hours of Jax. I have fished the majority of them, however, hard to fish them all. Question for the group... am I the only one that cannot get bit on moving baits? This is the first year I can remember that I cannot get bit on moving or topwater with any consistency this time of year. It is almost as if the bass are never hungry. The only way I am producing is painfully slow. Moreover, the sonar image is a shame!!! I cannot believe--I would ever see a Florida lake at that depth look so barren. I caught some good fish but things just do not seem right as I mentioned in my St. Johns river post.

Dang it Jason, you posted your pictures before I could. I was going to post the ones of you holding your fish where you like like you are pissed off at the world and ask the fellow BBC’rs if they would offer you some words of encouragement
