    mercury volt question

    i have a 660 cca battery on my motor i was told that it needed aleast 880 cca to run i was wondering what would happen with the 660 battery?
    it starts good with no trouble at all . i was told that it might not reach full rpms just wondering if i need to replace it
    its a 2000 90 hp ser ot331577 model 1990412yn

    a 660 will work a 850 would be a lot better and supply more amp to starter for eas of cranking , so as long as you don't have ANYTHING else connected to that batt might be fine , I wouldn't use any lower than 1000 on any ,kinda like fuel better to have lil more than you might need

    do you know if that would have an affect on the rpm? i dont see how it could but i have heard some really wild stuff
