    Here's a head scracther

Tow vehicle keep sblowing fuses when putting into reverse only with trailer attached. Drives fine without. 2 blown fuses in 2 weeks. All light son boat work. Something not connected? I'm scratching my head.

I assume your boat trailer has back up lights on it? If so there is a ground on the trailer for those.

Blue wire in the tongue of the trailer is shorting to the frame.

What does that mean exactly? Shorting to the frame?

Bare spot or loose connection touching the frame. Pretty common for small wear spots to develop where wires pass through smaller openings in the frame.

A short is an unwanted path for current. If a wire shorts, generally it pulls a lot of current (amps) and blows the fuse. The trailer frame is the potential (voltage) of the negative battery cable, Ground. We'll call that 0 volts. The wire to the back up lights and solenoid (a blue or purple wire in the trailer harness) has 12 volts through a fuse in the truck looking to do work, like make lights or a reverse solenoid work, when in reverse key on. If the conductor, or wires inside the insulation of the blue wire touch the trailer frame it is a short and instantly pulls more amps than the fuse is rated so it pops.

Well, I just don’t know. No blown fuses. I guess it blew the brake light switch again. This is so weird. Haven’t found the short yet either.

Brake lights or switch have no connection to anything that happens when the truck is in reverse. Unless your truck is badly miswired.

Pinched blue wire or chafed through the insulation, same wire.

The only trailer wire associated with the truck being in reverse is the blue wire.

You did not say what trailer you have but this old Ranger hookup has a red wire for the backup lights.

In this diagram, the red wire is for auxiliary power, but I have never seen a trailer with a red wire.

2013 ranger RT188 single axle. Mine has 5 wires instead of 6 like above. No red wire. All the rest.

Does your trailer have surge brakes?
Edit: what color Is your 5th wire?
    You should have:
    White - ground
Brown - tail and running lights
Yellow - Left turn and stop
Green - Right turn and stop
? Color - signal wire to reverse solenoid hooked to backup lights on vehicle. This will only be in the tongue (where the solenoid is located) and will not be in the harness that runs to the back of the trailer. This wire is probably frayed and is shorting out against the trailer frame, most likely around the tongue pivot.
This thread is not exactly like your problem, but may be worth reading for additional info:
