Back up flood on trailer- replacement

The factory back up light on my 2011 has quit working. I have a couple LED pod style floods for a brush guard application. I would have to assume anything for an auto exterior is also waterproof, but just curious if anyone has went down this path to replace the factory light and found the aftermarket LED didn’t work (or failed after submersing)? BCB has a new LED style, and I’m not too cheap to buy- just that I have two LED pods laying around unused and figured worth a try.

those are nothing more than farm tractor lights, the square ones. You can get the little black dual led lighting off of amazon and or ebay. That is where I got mine from. Information if ya need it.
