Garmin LiveScope Perspective Mode: Real world footage

Just installed my new Garmin LiveScope Perspective Mode, grabbed some video while I experimented with it. Running it on a 10" Garmin EchoMap Ultra 106SV with the version 2.41 LiveScope software.


Was sunny and windy, sorry for the glare and shaky camera.

Looks really good Tom! Any chance you can do a video of forward view with 2.41 update? I have my perspective mount from garmin but have been holding off on updating due to some people having a worse image than with the older version.

What is your opinion on forward and down view with 2.41 compared to pre 2.3 update?

Same with Pro-Hunt. Video footage of Forward/down view with 2.41 would have made a complete review. Darn nice review of perspective though!!! Thanks Tom

I had it on forward when i first used it, checked to make sure the new mount was working fine with forward and the picture was good. Same pic I've had with earlier software, seems 2.41 is good for forward and perspective, at least on my units.

My unit does not EVER show depth in perspective mode. Is there some setting i need to change for that to show? Works great but no depth reading.

In perspective mode, try Menu > Edit Overlays. Depth may not be selected.

iT is selected. just has blanks in perspective. Shows depth in forward and down
