    Little and Big Birch lake

Any locals fish them? Sounds like Little is loaded with smallies.

I don't know about the smallmouth...but they're both good lakes.

They both are great fisheries, Big Birch has become one of my favorite lakes to fish the last couple years, Has both nice largies and smallies in it.

    Thank you.

Driving up to see one of my Granddaughters in June. I have been up twice before both in less then idea circumstances. Hopefully I put her on some good fish.

Easy/short drive from my area. Both are fun to fish.

I have been to both and have caught a lot of numbers on Big Birch, nothing too huge. But have only been up there a couple days, so definitely don't have it wired. Little Birch is really gorgeous. I remember my brother catching a pretty nice smallie on Little Birch on a nice rocky deep point. I think he was throwing a pop-r or jerkbait during a drizzle. Haven't been up there in probably 3 years. Always enjoyed camping on Big Birch at the State Forest Campground. Definitely need to get up there again

Fish both often, big birch is your smallmouth lake of the two. However it has a lot of tournament pressure every year. Little is a lot of fun and you’ll catch a lot of nice fish both small and large. Little is more of the “local” lake and big birch is more recreational as there is a lot of homes on the lake. Either one you’ll catch fish and have fun depending on time of year you can catch shallow or deep.
