When i purchased my boat l bought what i thought was a upgraded foot board drawer and as we all know when it came in it was a worthless tray that helps you lose anything you put in into the bilge. Well i decided to see if i could redesign it. It came out pretty good I will refine it some what but here it is20200509_154516.jpg

Looks nice... I saw on the Nitro site that adding the drawer was a $2-300 upgrade. Wasn't it the same (nice) drawer they put in the Z-21's???
I saw the Z-19's had a panel in that spot and just assumed a person could just purchase and install the Z-21 drawer.
No they are different i assumed the same thing. The 1 they sell that fits the z19 are awful

I have a similar drawer but mine tilts out, On the z19 that is a 2019.
It sucks... What a ripoff.
i also assumed it was like the z21 and it was enclosed and pulled out. The fact that mine tilts out on angle makes it worthless. I am in the process of redesigning mind to pull out.
Someone could make some money, selling alternate drawers for this boat...

Do you have a pic of what that original tray looks like? I keep hearing how much they suck, but I haven't been able to look at one to understand what happens when you put something in there.
The original pivots from the bottom, does not slide out and it pivots back to like 25°. Everything bounces out and eventually to the back of the boat.
Unless you to plan to modify it into a slide out box..... Save your money

Ahh.. so there is no floor or "bottom" to the space underneath the tray? It just opens up to the bottom of the boat.
I wanted this option when I was ordering my boat but my dealer explained to me that it was complete garbage and I would not be happy with it. I'm glad I listened.
