I'd stay with Champ til there are no more available. If I was looking I think I would like that red 198 on the for sale page. But I loves me my 187. Its perfect.

What support do you want to hear about???... They're one heck of a big water riding boat... Post over on the Bullet page and you'll get any question answered... Or call Tom at the factory, he's a wealth of Bullet knowledge... Speed rules but if you can't get there and back what's it worth???... Dan

I'll be getting a Phoenix whenever I can. My 187 drives well in all water conditions, but the storage is awful unless you just have a minimum of gear. Not even just the lack of room, but in general. The rear compartments are big enough to put a small first aid kit and a hat in, and that's about it.

I never thought i would love a Tin boat after 20+ years in a glass Champion's. have had many Champs always wanted more storage and more inportment for me was Rod storage.i sold my 193scx loved her but needed funds for life issues.i searched for a year at different options. i had a buddy trade his very lightly used Lund boat in to buy a new Vexus. i look at it its HUGE width keeped me looking and the 9ft rod lockers had me look again.also really love the 3 group 31's sit under the rods in front center so boat sits flat and i can run 55mph in 4ft swells while talking to my wife and drinking coffee.new tech Pro Xs is a plus for me as well.i just wanted somthing i did not have to pull 1000 wires from old graphs and pumps out. front deck is 8'6" wide and 10ft long. im just very happy i went newer tech everything works as it should. all new Garmin graphs and trolling motor everything installed extended warentee was at my budget of 30k. could not be happier i still see my old Champs at my lake almost weekly so i get to visit the family..

I thought I heard way back that Stratos would affix Champion Decals on their Elite Boats — Will Charger? Im still loving my (original owner) 2004 198 Elite dual console but I likely will buy another boat at some point in my future years. Have always considered BassCat a quality boat but I prefer to stay with the ride I have trusted for 16 years.

I still get a kick out of the non boaters coming up that don't know my boat well and they open those back compartments on the 203 like they are going to put their tackle in the compartments and then they look puzzled :)

BCB makes a 203 hull with a Cat top cap. They call it the Hybrid.

I would be in a Cat or a Phoenix. IMO, they are the best made boats on the water today and was confirmed by one of the best fiberglass shops in the south. Also, their customer service has remarkable reviews.

Hope I don’t have to find out. Taking good care of my ole girl but if something catastrophic happens then a 21 ft Bullet or a Phoenix likely. I would have to buy a used one.

Allison xb21 BasSport. incredible rough water ride and i am yet to see a better built boat. Hopefully i will be able to buy one, in the mean time my 206 Champ and 21 Stroker will have to do. On a Side note id consider trading my 2001 Stroker for super nice 198 or a wide body Champ or a 203.
that's something you wont see anybody else willing to trade.

    Charger 198/210, Cat 203 Hybrid or a Nitro Z21.
