    Lithium Battery Dealers / Sponsors?

    Hi All -

Finally really considering this, want to start with a 12v 60 AH as a separate electronics battery. Really interested in Ionics due to the charger being reasonable but open to others for sure. From there, moving to TM and Cranking batteries in time.

Sorry if this is posted elsewhere (I looked through sales threads didn’t see anything). Are there any dealers on here that are running specials or have things in stock? Would love to support the board if possible. Thanks!

The 100 AH is slightly smaller than a group 27
The 60 and 80 is slightly smaller than a group 24

Curious if you ever found one that you liked and how it is working?

Yeah I'm struggling. Ionic has a deep cycle that they use as a starting battery, but I'm not able to get confirmation that it will start my Verado reliably. AMPed has a 1200cca rated starting battery, but won't answer the phone, only emails so far. Not looking to bump up to the Relion price range just yet.

The Ionic 125AH starts my 06' 225 Pro XS better than a Sears PM1 did

Good to know although you guys are a bit south of me in warmer climate.

FWIW I did find a link to Merc bulletin on the battery requirements for Verado: http://www.marinepartsexpress.com/Me...02008-04R1.pdf

Minimum 800MCA where the Ionic is rated 900CA which are essentially same rating I guess. Sure wouldn't hurt Ionic to have a little more dual purpose oriented battery for starting/house duties.

The Relion RB-100hp is the optimum choice for a starting battery.

I run a relion hp bought through hunter689. I wrote about it about a month ago On another thread stating how it cranked over my 250 pro xs In the driveway without hesitation when the air temp was 20 degrees. I had 3 mornings since I got the batteries when it was well below freezing and each time I attempted to crank the motor it cranked it just as well as it did today when it was 70 degrees. This winter I’ll be sure to test it at even lower temps than 20.
