    Monroe Twins

Found these girls on Monroe Thursday. Tough windy day. Ten minutes apart. Same area, depth, bait, and structure.

Monroe was on fire today too. I had 5 for 20.5 and I heard of 3 other bags over 20 in other tournaments. My biggest was post spawn... IMO

Think the ones I found were post spawn. Halfway back on deep banks.

Sure. Saddle creek area. 6 to 8 ft. Bright orange crank bait, bumping the bottom. Shale not mud.
Kinda went back to 1980's thinking. Sometimes our old methods may still be the best, who knows??
    Good luck

In the spring, Saddle Creek is always good. I have caught numerous keeper walleyes dragging a 1.4 road runner with 3” curlie tail plastics in orange/yellow combo color as well as nice size crappie spawning. And bass. Of course,,lots of little fish also.
