Granted, I don't have to use it often. So far, just 2 times. But I always spill a little bit into the splashwell. The pump nozzle gets stuck when trying to remove it. Have to hold it upside down. Not to mention, it's on the left side, so I have to drag it over the motor, when I'm filling up my vehicle and boat.
My F150 has the gas fill on the left side so I just take up 2 pumps and fill both my truck and 1980 at the same time.
I haven't had any issues, or gas spills in the splashwell. I didn't take it as a problem or an annoyance turning the gas nozzle a bit to get a good fit.
