Yes it’s a hyperlift. My father bought one new in 98 still has it and original yammi 150. 60mph all day handles good no weld issues extended the front deck and fishes as good as my x19

The X70 was a HyperLift hull. Non HyperLift hulls usually have an XP prefix.

You can be certain that the hull is a HyperLift if it is a stepped hull with a pad in the center just like high performance fiberglass hulls.

You may want to come up with an idea on how to check on the flotation foam if that boat was left outside often. It was a problem in these hulls back then.nI’m pretty sure my X70 is logged. It was not garaged by the original owner like it is now with me but it is only a 52-53 MPH boat right now. I made some mods to the layout and found wet foam in a section of mine. I’m willing to bet it’s all wet and the boat weighs way more than it should. I now think that’s why I can’t get full speed out of her. However, I absolutely love this boat. I’ve had two glass boats and this boat rides like one
