Opinions on Pro Craft Pro 185 Mercury Optimax 150

Hey guys I'm looking at a 2005 Pro Craft Pro 185 with a Mercury Optimax 150. Was wondering if you guys had any experience with these boats or motors? Good not good? What to look for when looking at it etc.... Any input is appreciated!

I have an 04 Procraft 192 Super Pro with a 10 200 Pro XS. I am the original owner of the boat. I really like it Haven't had a problem with stress cracks. Transom has no wood in it nor does yours. Boat takes rough water pretty well but nothing like a 21 footer. My boat weighs 1535lbs hull weight so certainly not a speed demon. Overall I think you will like your boat Mine is wiped down after every trip and still looks mighty good. It does have some scratches and nicks in the gel but that is because it gets used quite a bit. As far as your Optimax My 200 is a 2010 and other than regular service has never had a tap turned on it.

I have a 02 pro185. Like mine. However that said it comes down to what you want and that feeling you get when you see it.

Well I ended up getting the boat. Pretty happy with it so far. She’s a little rough in spots but overall I think it will be a good rig!

Almost looks like my 97 180 Bass. Just got rid of it in April of 2019 and never had any problems with it and i owned it from new.
