    Question '95 202 with a 200hp Mariner

    Going to look at a '95 Champ 202 that has a 200hp mariner on it. Is there anything that I should be looking for with this motor? My buddy is going with me to look at it but he has a 150 merc. on his ChampioN. Just want to make sure we don't overlook anything because the boat is listed at a very reasonable price.

    Make a post on the Champion board and ask how to check the transom which would concern me more than the motor. Mid 90's to early 2000's merc/Mariners are pretty much bullet proof with proper maintenance.
