    LaPorte Pine Lake

I have some family in the area and was considering bringing the boat to warm-up the outboard and do a little fishing before the first big road trip.

Is the marina open? Ramps? Any fishing or lake considerations?

I've not fished Pine Lake for several years. There used to be a ramp on the west side of the lake. I don't remember a marina, but there probably is one somewhere. I think I've fished it two times. It was really good fishing! I'd like to get back there sometime.

Stone lake has a free DNR public launch. There is a channel that connects Stone Lake to Pine Lake. Pine has a private pay launch as well. I have not fished it this year.

Thanks for the information on ramps. Do you expect the DNR ramp and lake are both open?

Yes the public ramp is open. I was told they graded the parking lot, which was greatly needed. Hudson Lake is about 20 min away and also has a new public launch. Let us know how you do/did.

Sounds good. Planning on launching at Stone and fishing both Stone and Pine this weekend.

We ended up catching 8 in the rain. They all appeared to be males up shallow, but the tournament guys found some bigger females. Surprised the Stone lake ramp doesnt have a dock. That was kind of annoying with no keel guard.
