Douglas Rods has merged with the preexisting opens series FLX Big Money Opens. The plan is to take a local Upstate, NY series to another level! Including: Large Payouts, Food, Apparel, Tents, Large Digital scales, TVs, Holding tanks, Fish release tubes, Free media coverage (social/web, photography, and video for all participants), Giveaways, and Most importantly a fair and well run tournament infrastructure! We’re are going the extra mile in order to raise awareness about our rods. Douglas Outdoors is located in Phoenix, NY and not enough local anglers are aware that there are top notch rods being produced right in their backyard!

my guess they will reschedule that tournament .. Looks like BASS is counting on it however with 3 major events in the northeast NY/VT in July.

July 14-17, Cayuga Lake, Union Springs, N.Y.
July 23-26, SiteOne Bassmaster Elite at St. Lawrence River, Waddington, N.Y.
July 30-Aug. 2, Lake Champlain, Plattsburgh, N.Y.

i was there,i was amazed the amount of boats that went down river,i went to lake probably had 30 beds marked with fish on them, got out there and they were pretty much all gone,the wind was a little different and a little stronger not sure if it was that was it or not,looks like they have a pretty good thing going,i hope they do well,i will pay to play again on Oneida in 6 weeks
