A Bud & I hit the Rez this weekend after fishing a day on Lake Washington. First thing you notice on the Rez is lack of vegetation. Not totally uncommon for clarity to be off this time of year. Most of the vegetation north of Hwy 43 bridge is on land somewhere. Jackson had terrible flooding recently but I didn't expect to find the Rez as disturbed as it is. Areas that are usually full of Alligator grass is stripped clean leaving little deeper water with cover. We still caught a few fish but nothing but work to catch them. If your planning a trip there from out of town bring more than one game plan with you.................
