How to keep helix 7 out of simulation mode

How do i keep my helix 7 from going back to simulation mode every time i turn it off. I wouldnt think i would have to keep turning it off during startup everytime.

Go to the Setup menu and turn off DEMONSTATION.

During start-up don't do any button pushing until AFTER you get the screen that has Press EXIT to continue.

Yes, Demonstration is used for in-store display. No reason to have it turned on when you own it.

Wayne, when i got to setup tab i see nothing that says demonstration. Im also running this unit just for maps and has not trans hooked up

Go to the second page of Setup, use the arrow button.

I just got a new Helix 9 and I’m having this same issue. No where in set up do I see a place to take it off demonstration or demo.

Unless you have a faulty unit, it is in the Setup menu near the bottom of the list.
