See set up in my signature line
Been beating this horse for a while trying to get everything set where I want it.
PTP is 3.25", was running a 15 pitch worked over by Mark (he does great work) and could get 42 mph @ 5900 rpms (WOT).
Switched over to my 17 pitch turbo, easy to get to 40 mph, but @ 5000 rpms. Finally got to ring it out some, hit 45 mph yesterday and rpms were @ 5500 (WOT).
Boat runs much better and proposing is gone! Thinking of going up another 1/4", Water pressure is 15-16 psi with current setup.
Looking back, started using ring free with Yamalube every fill up and am wondering if I had a carbon build up that was holding me back.
I did lighten my boat by going to two batteries from three, and the Xi3 weight is less than the Edge 65/45 I had before, and not packing every single bait I own in the boat.
