    1995 175 xri replacement reeds

What’s the best replacement reeds a 1995 175xri motor. Motor has a rough idle. Got to looking at the reeds. They no longer make a seal. Time for some new ones. Not looking to make hp. Just a good replacement. Thanks

I’ve used TDR reeds in every engine I’ve built for last 20 years from 11,000 rpm alky motors to recreation , IMO best reed on the planet ....

I’ve run Boysen and TDR with great success, may try Chris Carson next time I need a set, I’ve heard good about him too.

I also used Chris Carson Reeds. I really like them. Idle is much better, holeshot is smooth and powerful. All Good!

If you would, please take a moment to review the Announcements at the top of the Forum, and be sure to provide the Required Info (serial number) when posting. Thanks!

I use TDR (and sell them) as they've provided an excellent balance of performance, durability, cost, and fitment for me and my customers.
