Aaron and I hit Clinton on Friday for the grand reopening and it was much tougher than either of us anticipated. Water temps/conditions were as follows:
North Fork 54 Bridge: 52/muddy
Dam: 54/heavily stained
Mascoutin: 62/very heavily stained
Dewitt:64/dirty
48 bridge: 62/dirty
Parnell:56/heavily stained
The lake was packed with boats and everyone who we spoke with was struggling to get bites. We hunted hard to find the cleanest water that we could and finally managed to put a few decent fish in the boat once we found the right water color. Fish were caught on a white Ozark Flash spinnerbait from BBC Sponsor Trophy Bass Company and a crankbait.
The heavy rain that we had here all week prohibited the lake from showing what it is capable of producing...but that too shall pass and It's gonna get good again here soon.

Anyone on the water today? Have things settled at all or did the rain yesterday stir things up again?
