FL guy heading to Lanier today

Just trying to get an idea of what the spots are up too. Been there a few times in the summer months and always had a great time. Thanks

You can catch fish pretty much any way you want right now you will find them in all phases of the spawn. Herring should be on the verge possibly already started their spawn which makes for some awesome top water for some big spots and stripers mixed in early. It will slow as sun gets up but they are still some that will bite. Get on them windblown points, humps etc... if your in the right spot and it's happening you'll know it. Top water, fluke, swimbait, jerkbait, spinnerbait and crankbaits pick your poison. Or if you want to focus on spawning spots hit the flats and toss your favorite plastics around or go looking for them. Not sure your strengths but stick to em they'll work right now as long as your in the right areas. Best of luck to you!
