I installed a Lowrance Hook2 5X in my Old Town Loon 126 kayak with the transducer reading thru the hull. Down Scan doesn't work regular sonar does. Anyone have any luck getting Down Scan reading thru the hull?

Mount the transeducer correctly, or live with reduced functionality.
