Well, home after 24 hour round trip to Oregon from CA, but WELL worth it! 2020 DF250SS in Matte Black installed on the Skeeter 20i... can't wait to start breaking it in and begin to enjoy the oil/gas savings from my HPDI 2 stroke.
Went with the 4 blade 29P prop based on research.. hoping it ends up being a good fit.

Found a spray for the matte finish that I'm going to try out...
Chemical Guys SPI_995_16 Meticulous Matte Detailer and Spray Sealant (16 oz). Suppose to be good stuff.. let you know.
Also, got a vented motor cover to help protect all the time. I would recommend anyone thinking about a motor cover for matte finish, be careful... just from the drive home, the cover damaged some areas of my matte finish... sucks!
But guess it will be MUCH better than a lure bouncing off it from a buddy making a bad cast or a punch weight come flying back on a hook set and hitting the motor... that would be much worse looking. hahaa
