    Did it! Dakotalithium

MODIFIED ON 5/1 ---- I HAD TO CORRECT MY ORDER ------

    Made in the USA

Got DakotaLithium's 36V kit which is a series of three 54Ah 12V batteries..... for $1,399 . I didn't by the wiring kits as i think i can do it myself.
Got an additional 100Ah battery to run all my electronics, dedicated and seperate from my Optima lead AGM battery that i use for my Evinrue 225HO engine

    $1,950.00

So i feel i got my trolling motor covered and got my electronics with great power and lost some weight on my boat.. about 150 lbs.

I learned after i ordered that i did that math wrong on my electronics and running all my electronics on the 54Ah was cutting it to close if i run my Livescope all day.

The free charger sounds like a great idea , so you do not have to go out and buy one and spen a few hundred more .

Thanks. Each of my 3 TM lead batteries being removfed was 68 lbs each ( 3 x 68 = 204 lbs ) and I am bringing on on 4 batteries ( seperate 4th battery for my electronics! that's the coolest part to me ) that are each 17 lbs.

    So ... (17lbs x 4 ) minus (68lbs x 3) = 68 - 204 = -136 lbs off my boat

And no China crap.... no more China for me... Made in USA

You might want to look into where most of the component's of that battery were made ………. China

Hi Leon, where are you getting your facts ? I did quite a bit of research and called the company. The Dakota cells are built in the states and the Dakota company patented, designed, builds and supports their own BMS over the cells ( battery management system... the brain of the deep cycle lithium battery. The BMS protects the lithium cells from getting damaged, ensures the cells are always in balance, and maintains the quality and efficiency of the pack. ).

Sorry you were offended by my comment about made in the USA. Have a good night.

Thinking the same. Maybe spend a few more bucks before you find out you need bigger.

Unless he has multiple large screen, black boxes and transducers he leaves on at all time I think 54 should power electronics for a day.

He does. He just posted 2 days ago saying he runs 4 units (we don’t know the size). He runs livescope and a structure scan box. Plus livewells. A few of us said get 100ah on that thread.
