currently run a 920 Phoenix but looking at Caymus CX20. Seems to be about the same specs. Anyone know the length of the CX20 front deck? Front deck comparison to 920 front deck? Speed of the CX20 with a 250 with good tournament load - 1/2 tank gas, tackle, 2 persons, livewells full....? Thanks.
There are other threads on here guys telling their speeds and experiences in the cx20. A few threads telling cx 20 specs also.
Ok. I'll do a more detailed search. I was interested in the front deck size - centerline of front deck from bow to where you step off he front deck. It is 85" on my Phoenix 920. Thanks.
I just changed my 25 Fury out to a 24 Fury on my CX20 with Mercury. With the 25, full tank of gas, 2 full live wells, Two people 180lb and 230 lb and a full load of fishing equipment I could only get 5650 RPM at 66 MPH. It would not come out of the hole for 7-8 seconds. I also have Talons.
inow have the 24 Fury. I can now with full tank of gas, 2 full live wells, all the fishing gear, two people and Talons, I am getting 73 easy. I’m quite certain that I can get 75 with empty live wells and 3/4 tank of fuel. I could not be any happier with the performance now. Oh and also this is all at 5850-5900 RPM.
Great hearing this information. I started with a 25 fury. Now have a 24 fury to test. Ill report back on my findings. The 25 fury isn't for my boat,cx20 pro.
