Picked up a new Thompson Center TCR22

Anyone else shooting one? How do you like it?

I liked the first one so well that I bought another one, and a take off stock that I use on a 10/22. These are all the original model with solid green stock.

I would buy one of the heavy barrel models, but I’m already overloaded with custom 10/22s that cover that.

the only thing I didn’t like about the TCR was the trigger, but Brimstone will tune the trigger and add an aluminum trigger blade. It’s near perfection.

I’ve read a lot of good about Brimstone. I’m going to look into that.

I haven't looked for a while, but they didn't used to list the TCR on their website. Call them if it's not there, they told me it's very similar internally to the Ruger BX trigger and they said to just order the BX trigger job.

I sent an OEM 10/22 trigger to Brimstone and it came back smooth as silk compared to what it was before. Price and turnaround were both reasonable

Some are more rare but they have kind of a cult following.
