A buddy of mine was kayak fishing a small pit near a bigger one. Was beached looking for some mushrooms when a Red Dodge pulled up near his truck, two guys got out with a hammer and were approaching his truck. He surprised them from the bushes and they ran off. They were obviously up to no good.
Good thing they ran off and didn't come after him. You never know these days.

Agree, It would be a shame to assume everyone that fishes there needs to pack heat. Maybe Chicago but Greene-Sullivan???
