Headed out today, hoping the wind dies down, as I went Sunday and pretty much felt like I was fishing in a hurricane. 15 mph winds ALL DAY long. I don't mind some wind, but 50 degree air temps with a 15 mph wind from the NW and NE is COLD. Caught two fish that made no sense.... Water temps at 49... And holding... Snow Monday and Tuesday. Between the virus and the weather, feels like the end is near..... :-)

    Jerry, agree.

They just canceled all summer activities in Falmouth. Some rather big events. Tourism is king here, and the summer carries the winter for most. This will kill many businesses here. Its about to kill the ferries to the islands. Which is a big employer. No road race, no 4th fireworks which is huge. Going to be quite a few Resteraunts going down.

I'm wondering how many kids have food and sweaty clothes in their lockers at school........... I finally got an email for me to make an appointment to pick up my kid's medication, kid would have probably been in rough shape if I waited six plus weeks.

Yeah, it is about to get really ugly in Maine if Mills doesn't relax/modify her "plan". For our economy, the next four months are critical, and honestly, for her candidacy as governor, she needs to redo her plan and come up with a better one for Maine, or things will go just exactly as you described. I don't think people understand how many small businesses will fold and how many restaurants will not reopen. Here is hoping to better decision making for the Maine economy and soon.
