    Thumbs Up Engle Bait Coolers

Saw one used to keep crappie minnows.
Guide said it would hold em for 4 days without changing water.
2 D cell batteries run the aerator.
13 qt holds 1 pound of minnows per Engle.
I bought one Saturday. Minnows have been in it for 44 hours and batteries are still running.
    Slick rig.
Two flip locks and rubber seal around top of tank keep water tight while under power.
Looks like you are toting about 10 beers!
It comes with a DC/Cigerette plug to run from car or boat.
You can buy the AC plug in line connection from Engle but it is out of stock at the moment.
    5 Stars.

I always wondered if these were worth the money. Thanks for the review!

Have always heard good things about them. Several crappie fishing friends of mine love them.

I’ve loved mine. My buddy has oxygen tanks at home he hooks to them and has kept them for three weeks at a time in his. Had to feed them.

I have the 19 qt Engel and really like it when we crappie fish. The aerator that comes with it is a little noisy and I switched it out for a Hush Bubbles aerator that is considerably less annoying. The lift out tray minnow net makes getting a minnow a breeze.

I bought mine at Academy years ago and the last time I was in there I saw they now have a Magellan brand knock off for $40 for the 19 qt. It looked like it may be better insulated but it didn't have the lift out minnow net that I really like on the Engel.
