    Hard Water Spots

Looking for any suggestions on what works best for removing hard water spots. Tried Hot Sauce and am not impressed with it at all. Any other suggestions?? Has anyone used Pro-tech water spot remover before?

Depends on what they’re on, color and how long they’ve been there. You’ll hear all kinds of remedies and I’m sure each have worked for the individuals posting however every situation is different.

They are on my motor which is a Yamaha with a black cover. I guess I'm just looking for the best product that will help take some of the spots off. Like I said I tried Hot Sauce and was not impressed and I'm just curious what everyone else has tried.

Purkleen descaler is great for old hard water. I just did my outboard with it and it looks like new. http://www.purkleensolutions.com/products.html

50/50 vinegar and water. Or just use slick mist

Boat Bling Hot Sauce is hands down the best at removing hard water spots. I run on a very calcium rich lake that water and vinegar doesn't work on. Boat bling knocks them right out the first time.
