Evinrude 200HO Etec Max RPMs and Prop Question
I am running a 2007 Bass Cat Pantera 2 with 2007 Evinrude 200HO Etec. question is what is the max rpm you would run it and i am only getting 53-5400 rpm WOT with a Raker 2 26p Prop running 67.8 Mph Gps. what prop and pitch would you reccomend? Fury or something else? Thank You!

I have no experience with the Raker props so I am sure someone will chime in. But with those numbers I would say you could be about two pitches too high. Now if you have not tried adjusting your jackplate start there first as you may be loosing it from that and not the prop.

So something is way off here. Is your speed GPS or speedo?
When you get that boat right, (if something is not wrong with the boat, IE water logged) it should be a mid to high 70s boat with a 26 Trophy or Fury. FYI, I love the Merc props, use the Michigan Wheel #200 hub kit. It's possible you could even spin a 27 on that boat.
I think you have a speedo issue or a tach issue.

You can spin that motor to 6000 easy but I like to prop them at 5800-5900

Gps is 67.8 at 5300-5400. Just wondering if i should try a 25 or 24 pitch fury prop, trying to borrow one but no one has one for me to try

Put a GPS app on your phone to make sure the GPS is correct. If correct then your tack is off. If the tach checks out then the Raker is not a 26 anymore.
What is your prop to pad height? Do you have a Jack plate? Something is off because if anything you should be able to go up in pitch with that package.

I have a speedometer app on my Ifone which measures GPS speed to the tenth of a mph.
Also good for verifying speedo accuracy in your car or truck. My Tacoma reads 2 mph fast at 70 mph due to tire size.

67 mph at 5400 rpm's is right. If you want more rpm's dropping one inch in pitch will give you 200 more rpm's but no more speed. What is you current prop to pad measurement? It should be close to 3" under pad.
