Agree. We fished Nichols on Sunday and had only had 4 keepers for 9lbs. Grind all day. The 4 we caught were flipping. The lake coming up I think really hurt the bite. I was puzzled why they flipping bite or spinnerbait wasn’t on fire. Some caught them though as they always do.

Been out the past three days. My dad and I had 15 pounds in last Saturday’s AIA tournament. This weekend is a complete 180. Frustrating! But at least I’ve idled a ton and found some new stuff.

Had to be duck/drowning area south. Last big bass bash a ton of big fish were weighed at wolf creek. The arrowhead weigh in did not have a lot in the past, this year bernice had the big numbers, the boats were coming back and forth from bernice and the south. I started on a main lake point near two tree island on Saturday, the amount of boats headed south at 530 in the morning was nuts, hardly anyone was headed north.

I heard quite a few limbs bouncing off the bottom of the boat.

We caught a 3.06 Saturday and a 3.01 Sunday. Missed $500 by that much. The rest of our fish were short short. Tried all sorts of things. Can’t wait to get back out there and figure em out again!
