I have a Minn Kota 460pc four bank Charger in my boat. Everything has been working fine except today. When I plugged it in instead of doing the normal startup routine with the indicator lights it now will cycle through each bank. Lighting up all five indicator lights then the 50% light then going blank before moving on to the next one. Has anybody seen this??? Thanks
I have a 460pc and its still works great after 3 years but to be honest I plug it in and walk away , I stopped trying to understand it , always gets the job done but is confusing after first plugging it in when I return from fishing , good luck .
I always check just to make sure it's charging. This is different than normal. I'm wondering if my batteries got to low and it's not charging at full power until it gets to a certain point.
Might be , see what the lights look like in the morning and they might be good .
That's the plan for now.
thats a new 1 for me. I have the 460PC in my '15 Legend and uts worked flawlessly since day 1. Does the indicator lights come back in after a few hours on charge?
First time plugging mine in (had it since 2016) after it has been awhile the lights will act a little goofy. I will unplug it and make sure the switch is off and the trolling motor breaker is open then plug it back in. Let it go overnite and see what happens in the morning.
Well, had it plugged in all night and nothing changed. Still doing the same thing..
You may need to put a stand alone charger on that one battery and get it’s voltage up so that it will accept a charge from the MK. Do you have a multi-meter?
Check your batteries via a gauge before and after when using the charger. I think you can Google what the light sequences nean on that charger.
It does it to all the batteries. It cycles through each one. Also I can't find a trouble code for how this is lighting up.
