    Water temps

Celebrated the motorboat ban with a fishing trip today. The dang water temps here in Alpena area are 5 to 8 degrees colder than before the ban. Can't win

Yeah, we are seeing the same down state. After the ban it's 3-5 colder. Was hoping to see low 50's and best we saw was 48 in St. Clair.

We were on LSC today, morning the temps started at 9 was 43.9 and by the time we called it around 3 the temps had dropped to 43.1. We didn’t go into any bays or anything today, stayed in the main lake

Haven't been out yet but we've had some cold days and nights the past couple of weeks. Looking ahead the temps get back to around normal for this time of the year so hopefully that'll warm the water up a tad. Even the walleye guys were saying the water was a bit too cold yet.

42 here at my local smallmouth lake. It’s a small lake but it’s extremely deep so it takes a bit to warm up.

45 on my lake yesterday. Last time I fished at the beginning of the month it was 46. Really surprised me that the temps haven't gone up at all.

I'm assuming it's still high 40's water temp? How's the water clarity?

54ish along the Mile Roads. It's been blowing 15-20 most of the day. We left about 11, cold and windy. Sun finally popped out when we got home but the wind was fierce. If it could lay down the clarity would be OK at the Mile Rds but bite was sloooooow.

Anchor Bay was stained, about 2 ft if you were lucky. Early day for us, there is always tomorrow

you must have been in close to see those temps, we were down there this morning as well, left out around 11:30 and fished in Anchor Bay for a bit. Saw 49* in 12fow at the mile roads and up to 53* when we tried moving in, the bite was slow though. Anchor Bay was about 52* on the south side of the bay, had a little better luck up there.

We started near the tower in about 8-9 FOW and consistently saw 54(low end) . Let the wind push us to Memorial Park. We were out Friday on the same track and had a decent trip. The overall pressure and weather played it's part today.

The wacky weather continues. Talking snow showers on Friday. Forecast looks horrible Fri - Sun. The water should be back in the mid 40's when all is said and done.

Yep, we are paying for our very mild winter right now. Every time we have a mild winter, it seems like spring is just pure shit for weather.
