Fiesty Pond Fish

Thursday had time to kill before golf. Luckily had some gear in the truck.
Caught 10 before teeing off.
Then 3 Crappie in a row on 16 tee box.
Then 7 more around the 18th green.
All little, but at 3 in the afternoon with a high sun the bite was still on so I call my No. 3 grandson who needs to catch some fish to light his fire a little brighter on fishing.
We fish till almost dark. He catches 19 and I catch 20. We had a blast. He improved his casting through the day. 60 fish for the day, mostly bass with some nice sized crappie. No big ones though.
Got my boat back yesterday after 5 weeks. Yea!
Headed to Grand this morning to take some friends out for crappie. I hope my mojo holds up!
