On the FB post the guy said the front took a lot of damage. TM ripped off, hole in deck, and butt seat jammed into base which buckled the deck. Seems this was in Chattanooga. Thankfully his family survived. Boat can be replaced at some point.

I thought the same thing
I had my 518 Ranger parked on the street in from of my house, a distracted and speeding driver smashed into the rear port side corner and totalled the hull and trailer, but the motor was fine. The driver's insurance company refused to pay me for the motor and insisted that I had to have it removed and keep it, which I ended up having to do... I hope the insurance sleaze balls this guy is dealing with are better than the ones I had!
In the end I put that motor on a Stratos hull, so maybe it all worked out for the better
Ouch. Glad the family was ok.
