    I own two type II's. In TN, the law says it MUST be worn at all times. Sitting on your seat/stored in a compartment is the same as not having one in your boat, you will be cited to court. When it's cold outside, I switch to a Mustang Survival type III and wear it 100% while in my boat.

    Probably a good chance. If you were going to go anyway, fishing would be the way to go, but the unknown has to be heck on family and friends. A PFD would at least have made it easier to get resolution.
