Is there truth to the statement Charcoal Gel is hard to keep clean and shows scratches easily?
The darker the color the more scratches show!

Straight gel is easier to keep up, sand, buff, repair, etc. especially the light color grey on the boat in the pic. I do it for a living and had much rather work on a gel boat than a flake boat. If you get a scratch that’s deep in a gel boat it’s wayyyy easier to fix and hide than flake.

It's funny someone ask about this... we had a bass nation tournament this weekend and a guy had one that was geled like that but with red pins and that is the best looking boat I've ever seen!

Other than it being darker, I'm not sure how a grey or black gel boat is any different than the white boats (with some flake inlays) that used to be common... Also, I think the grey and/or black gel combos look AWESOME!
We currently have this one in stock ready to go.charcoal boat.jpg
Here's mine, LOVE the charcoal grey.
