From Power Pole's FAQ on replacement hydraulic fluid:
A: We suggest you use Green Marine, which is a non-toxic and biodegradable fluid. Green Marine can be purchased through any of our authorized dealers or here on our website. As an alternative, any ISO032 hydraulic fluid or SAE10 oil can be used.
I think the problem with the biodegradable stuff is that it biodegrades in your fluid reservoir.

Thanks, that is what I thought and I knew you would shoot out the right answer. I will stick with the green fluid.

How would you switch? Empty lines , totally clean tanks (with what?) and then refill with the iso32. Sounds like a big job

Manually push up poles to force fluid from lines, drain remove and wipe out reserviors, refill with iso 32 if choose. Super easy job 30 to 45 min . Not difficult. We always like to recommend using the environmental green marine however.
You will extend the time between fluid changes to 3+ years with the iso oil.

One of my pumps is low from having to take the line off to get my pole up so i might as well change the fluid. How much fluid will i need to order to do both pumps?
They aint got hands, set the hook
Plan on a quart for each especially if your going to flush the lines.
1 qt of green marine per pump
