How was the crappie fishing? Working 10 hours today really sucked with this weather being so nice.

Smacked them with mostly big heavy slabs. Almost 3 limits. Started around 11 and let the grandson catch the first 10. Fished docks with the Garmin livescope and Fle Fly crappie kickers, white and green worked well and minnows on a slip bobber set 8-12 feet. Then finally at the end of the day about an hour before dark caught some big ones on the bank. Water 64-67. Next two weeks should be the spawn on Grand. Go get you some! Grandson had a good time and I did as well.
We fished with Hayden Williams of Williams Guide Service. He is a good guide who grew up on the lake. Would definitely use him again.

It was pretty amazing to scope the docks. It would show you what part of the dock they were hiding. Usually the hardest part of the dock or the most shady. You could watch your bait/minnow on the screen and the fish that was chasing it. Weird to watch like a video game. It really does help you pin them down.
It wasn’t used to find the bank fish. Did that the old fashioned way!
