05 LE 21 recess trolling motor foot tray

Anyone install a recess tray on a LE21? What if any issues do I need to be aware of?

I have a 2000 hawk 2100 basically the same. Mine installed fine. There is about 2 inches of foam under the deck to get through is about it.

2002 Viper Cobra 201 DC very similar to yours, and I had not issues apart from getting the cut out detach from flotation foam and digging out the foam to fit. You can make a hole for the drain thru the foam.22.jpg

I did not realize any of the LE models did not come with recesses tray I thought it was only the Cobra and Hawks that didn't

I don't know about the LE-21, but I believe that the recessed tray was an option on the later Cobras along with the extended front deck filler with storage. I have the non starage extension on mine.
