I think there is a desire for both, but value isn't too much. I think I got $10 or so out of my last dudley.
Don Butler, winner of the 2nd Bassmaster Classic, owned Okie Bug and won that classic on an Okie Bug spinnerbait. Deadly Dudly, never could make that thing buzz across the top. Never caught a fish on it.
Interesting info thank you, i'm willing to sell both, just wasn't sure of the price of them etc.
X2 on the Deadly Dudley!!
The Lunker Lure hit the market in 1976 and is credited with being the first buzzbait. The Deadly Dudley pre-dated that by at least 4 years as it was introduced in the 1972 Burke catalog and it was referred to as a buzzin bait. The trouble was the poor design made it difficult to run nice and easy on the surface. Lunker Lure solved the problem by building the buzzbait frame we know today, and one of the greatest lures of all time came to be. Too bad for Burke. They had a lot of novel ideas that never caught on.
i would sell either or both if anyone wants to have these?
