Camp Lite is no longer in business but made campers entirely out of aluminum (all framing and panels) and Azdel throughout the interior. Even aluminum roofs until Thor bought the company and eventually went to rubber roofing, then shut it down in 2018. Any built through 2015 and even 2016’s built in late 2015 are built without wood. The latest models did have wood in the cabinet faces/doors but nowhere else. Azdel made up the cabinet sides, bottoms, etc. 2014 and earlier even had Azdel cabinet doors.

Cirrus Campers by Nu:camp Use Azdel panel systems. There website is a little odd, they tout their 820 heavily for short bed trucks. But they do have a 920 for long beds. And a 670 for 1/2 tons, that dosen't even show in the brochure. They have some interesting ideas there bed is kinda neat, but their heating system in most intriguing of all.

Their Aldie heating system is hot glycol water radiant system vs forced air. From youtube videos the Aldie system appears to be more efficient on propane than force air. And being from Wisconsin if desired you can, with an added option preheat the camper off your truck while driving. Too me that is interesting. The only time I have froze lines in a camper was while hunting driving to the camp. No damage the water just turned to slush.

My Cirrus has those panels, love it to death! No water in the Alde, it is strictly Glycol. Radiant heat is fantastic at -15* no problem.

I had a Lance and a Camp Lite. The Camp Lite was lighter and I didn't worry about water, but I liked the Lance better. Truck campers are ideal for camping while fishing.

Thanks for the replies, I have also been looking at the Article Fox brand. Does anyone have opinions on them?

I have a 2018 AF990 that I bought new. Happy with it. It is a big dude though. Tall, need 12'6" clearance, always looking for low tree branches. I use it for fishing and otherwise wife, I and two german shepherds travel together. Comfortable. Had a few minor issues, dealer or factory sent me parts I needed quickly to get up an running. Failed jack controller, and a failed plumbing diverter valve for winterizing, and I needed a trim piece that broke off. If you like it ... I recommend it.

I also have an 2017 AF865 bought new from American RV in Grand Rapids MI before they converted to a Camping World. If you search YouTube for Ian Baker's walk through of a 2017 AF865, that is my exact camper. Absolutely zero problems with the camper, but it is only on my truck (2017 F350 SRW) when camping, otherwise the camper is parked in an enclosed farm shed.

Wish it had the single bowl kitchen sink and the solid surface counter/table tops they have in current models.

I specifically ordered the truck with the truck camper in mind...it has the payload capacity to carry the camper and I try not to travel with much onboard water. Can tow my Tracker PT175 behind with a hitch extension, but wouldn't take off cross country doing that tho. As was stated before it is a tall camper, especially riding in the Ford's bed.
