If that happens it will be years not weeks

Wider is better for more room...but not for ride.

    Got quoted 53k for a bare bones (boat,motor,trailer,trolling motor, 3 batteries,manual jackplate) 296 w/200 merc can't imagine what a 596 would cost.

Went to a local bug boat dealer hate to say it but that's the way I am leaning. ZX250, 250 Yamaha sho, manual jp, one power pole, 9" helix front and console, hamby, ultrex, batteries, and all the little extras for $53,395 is looking like the best deal I have seen so far.

Don't have to worry about that stuff anymore. Stopped tournament fishing years ago so if I even think it's going to get rough I stay home. Just wanted a bigger platform for my last boat and from what I am seeing of pricing it won't be a Charger I want.

My problem is no one builds a bare boat anymore. I was looking at the standard parts on a 596 and I don't need or want most of them to me their just things I will have to maintain that I don't want to. Package boats are cheaper like the bug I was looking at but has items I don't want and was told might as well keep them it would cost more to remove them.

Gave another demo ride this weekend,we had the other brand along with a 496 and 596 4 guys in each it’s just amazing how well these boats slice through the water .The other boat was a total ass beater nothing good about it other than it’s really wide. Its not that guys don’t go fishing because it’s rough out it’s when your out there and a storm or every one decided to go boat riding and Iam not going to have to worry about the weather or other people out boating when it’s my day off.

Those ZX 225s and 250s are great package deals.

You guys that fish clean water just don't get it. Lakes down here look like chocolate milk 4-5 months out of a year tired of scrubbing dirt line off a white hull. Besides thinking Mike might want that?
