Axiom Bassboat set up

Recently purchased two axiom 9's. Im looking for some advice/help on setup /network.
I'll be installing the units on a bass boat. Here are my thoughts/intentions.
One axiom 9 rv to be installed at the console with the Rv 100 tranducer to be installed on the jackplate.
2nd axiom 9 rv to be connected to the bow with the cpt-100 dvs tranducer connected to the trolling motor.
Both units will be networked together via a raynet cable. I also would like to install a through hull 2D transducer for high speed/ on plane depth reading. This is where I'm unsure. I was told I can use either a P79 or a P74 transducer with a y cable.
Any thoughts on which tranducer to use?Does anyone have a similar setup?

you can use a p79 . Available in two different model A series connector or DSM connector.. you will need a Y cable.

The "2D" blue and red fishfinder image coming form RV-100 will now come from the p79.///
